Hello Folks, recently had the pleasure to be invited to speak at the 1st edition of the Sharepoint Saturday Ensenada user group where I delivered a session on the Adaptive Network Hardening for Sharepoint. Here´s a quick recap of my experience on this event.
Sharepoint Saturday Ensenada Pre-Day
Yes. It was a really fun pre-day starting 9:30AM where I had the pleasure to share a ride from San Diego to Ensenada with Joel Oleson, Jared Shockley and Scott Restivo, absolutely great times with such a great personalities. Not to mention the great conversations with Mike Fahner and the great speakers at the event!
On our way we took some time off to enjoy the great view of Ensenada and local food including Playas de Ensenada and Rosarito.
Later on we had a really good time on the speakers dinner at Corona del Valle.
Sharepoint Saturday Ensenada 2019
October 10th, the event started at 8:30AM with a great kickoff where Nichole and David Leveille where the Chiefs Event Officers – great organizers – had every single detail covered before, during and after the event.
Sharepoint Saturday Ensenada 2019 agenda: There were 3 tracks with very interesting topics around Sharepoint and collaboration tools.

On this specific delivery I demonstrated how you could leverage Azure Security Center features to improve the security of your Sharepoint farm on Azure, along with some best practices for managing HA scenarios.
Later on had a really nice conversation with Mike on the MS Teams adoption strategy along with some challenges and benefits for those organizations who want to improve productivity and improve internal processes.
Next session delivered by Sal where he demonstrated how to use Cortana built-in capabilities to trigger a process to MS Teams. Really nice demo!
Also, Fátima shared his experience on the MS Teams adoption process and did enphasis on having an internal sponsor to promote the utilization of the new tools and capabilities.
Sharepoint Saturday Ensenada 2019 included an Ask the Expert session before closure with really good questions around Sharepoint and Cloud adoption.
